Description MATERIALS: Beads, cotton threads.
CONSTRUCTION: Braided, beaded with three dimensional structure radiating from circle.
MOTIFS: No
COLOURS : Multicoloured.
STYLE REMARKS: The three-dimensional style is traditional. The wrapped technique has been replaced by braiding. Buttons are added.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Worn by a little girl on the wrist. Little girls were traditionally ornamented with beaded necklaces, bracelets and hair ornaments.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Kandiya is for girls and Ganatri is for boys.
