Description MATERIALS: Cotton threads, glass beads, cowries.
CONSTRUCTION: Wrapped threads, Beaded, three dimensional construction.
MOTIFS: None.
COLOURS : Multicoloured.
STYLE REMARKS: The ganatri is simple than Kandiya and has cowries to keep away the evil eye. This is worn by boys.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Worn by a little girl on tbe wrist. Little girls were traditionally ornamented with beaded necklaces, bracelets and hair ornaments.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Beadwork is considered precious. Beaded ornaments, especially for children, are today hardly used.
