Description 
MATERIALS: Cotton & synthetic chint cloth, cotton & rayon threads, mirrors, sequins, beads, tassels. CONSTRUCTION: Machine st., Embr : surface satin, interlaced, btt. hole, Romanian, couched, cross stittches. MOTIFS: Mor, jhad, golado, chaki, laher, mod. STYLE REMARKS: Suf-the seeming chaotic arrangement of motifs is unusual. Artisans use a different pattern in each leaf of a toran. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Synthetic chint cloth is from Pakistan and was used for ghaghra. CULTURAL REMARKS: In older embroideries, plied cotton thread called kashmiro was used. Toran, Doorway hanging.
